Wow it has been a long time since I have blogged. It has been a crazy summer. Our Kylie Joy has turned 5 years old. She designed her own cake this year. She saw a picture of a similar one, that had care bears on it. She told us to take off the care bears and add horses. Then instead of spice drops she told us to add gumballs. She asked her grandma Latimer to make her cake this year. I think it turned out pretty cute.
Kylie and I spent the day together. I asked her what she wanted to do and she said she would like to take her daddy to lunch at McDonald's. So we went down and took David out for a happy meal. Then she wanted to go see the animals at the humane society. She fell in love with an Austrailian Cattle dog while we were there. She sat and played with that dog for about 30 minutes and she did not want to leave. Next we started preparing for her party. We picked out balloons and ice cream.
Kylie started in on her cake even before her guests arrived. Grandma encouraged her to start licking a sucker. Naughty Grandma!
Kylie insisted on going swimming yet AGAIN this year, she must be part fish.
She had a blast! We are so grateful to have Kylie as part of our family. She definetly makes things interesting around here. I can't believe my baby is 5. Happy Birthday Tootsie!
