So, I can't even explain this picture. This is just Carson for you. This about the only picture I got of him because he was always way ahead of me on the trails. You gotta love that face!
Cute little girls. They were just kicking back after they had eaten lunch. It's amazing how much happier your 3 year old can be with some food in her stomach.
This is the famous rock that my kids have to climb every time we go to Silver Lake. They even played tag on it this time.
If there is a rock or a tree to climb, you can bet your booty that the boys will be all over it.

This is one of the few SMILES we got out of Kylie today. I think we stretched her hiking abilities to the Max. She was a trooper and did an amazing job. We hiked a trail that we had never done before and it was pretty hard. She made it about 2 hours UP the mountain before she started to whine. We were trying to hike to a lake, but after 2 hours of hiking we asked someone who was coming down the mountain how much longer we had, and they said 1 1/2 more hours. We decided at that point to turn it around. I gave Kylie a piggy back ride on the way down and she ended up falling asleep on my back. Needless to say she was carried all the way DOWN the mountain.
