Christmas

Kylie was so fun to watch this year. She had so much fun opening presents. She got so excited over the smallest things. She adds to all the fun with her sweet little spirit. She kept telling me that she saw me kissing Santa Clause.
Kaleb is growing up too fast, but it is still so enjoyable to watch him open gifts. He was very happy this year!

Kylie was trying to show me how big her present was.

My Rocker son got his first electric guitar for Christmas this year. He doesn't really know how to play but he can pick up songs fast. He knows how to play Come Come Ye Saints on the Acoustic guitar, but I don't know if that would sound good on the electric. Maybe some rock songs would be fitting.

Corbin is halarious. He wanted these Eye Clops Night vision goggles for Christmas. They are really cool, but look geeky on. They like to play hide and go seek in the dark basement with these.

All the boys got bikes for Christmas this year. Here is Carson posing in front of his, while holding his new socks. We had a great morning.

Here is Kylie playing with one of her new toys.

Here is the mess after they were done opening everthing. It took us a couple days to get cleaned back up. Fun times, fun times.

Carson turns 11

Carson is now the big 11! We celebrated on his birthday with grandma and grandpa coming over for cake and ice cream. Just a simple get together. He later went with a friend to Classic Fun Center to celebrate a little more. We are so glad that he was sent to our family. He is the life of the party, and our goof ball. He is also the Lucky one in the family. He always finds money on the ground and he seems to win things alot.
Here is his BYU birthday cake. I made it for him. He loved it! (Those are his exact words.)

Here's the birthday boy blowing out his candles. He probably wished for a million dollars, and knowing his luck maybe he'll find it on the ground. Happy birthday Carson. We love you the most!

Smarty Pants

Kaleb made the Honor roll! Hurray it looks like we a smarty pants on our hands. This is his first year in middle school (7th grade)and he brought home a 3.76 GPA. He just keeps taking after his mom! We are really proud of him. Good Job Kaleb, keep up the good work. It took some pleading to get this picture.

Halloweenie

Here is the gang just before they headed out for trick or treating.

Here is our little GEEK and our BYU fan. Carson even showed us how to run like a geek. He was halarious. He reminded me of Nepolieon Dynomite. He made me laugh for a few minutes. Kaleb made sure he hit all the Utah Ute houses to show off his blue pride. We had fun.

Kylie was a Care Bear on Halloween night. She was going to be Cinderella but she changed her mind at the last minute to the care bear costume. We even got up on Halloween morning and put curlers in her hair for her Cinderella costume. Our neighbor brought over the Care Bear costume that day and Kylie was sold. She was cute either way.

Corbin would have just dressed up as himself this year if he could of got away with it. He decided to just paint his face and wear an old scream costume that we had. The make up only lasted for about an hour an then he ended up wiping it off. He also got tired out early this year. We were trick or treating and he decided to go home around 7:30. He got plenty of candy though.

Here's our little Jack Jack dressed up for Halloween in his Hot Dog costume. He even stole a Twix from one of the kids.

Bacon anyone?

David and I went to lunch with Kylie today. Kylie and I were sharing a mixed breakfast burrito and she pulled a piece of bacon out of it and asked me what it was. I said it's bacon and then added that it was a pig she was eating. She immediately pulled it out of her mouth and started to freak out. She was saying it's not a pig, it's not a pig. Just to stop her from freaking out I said OK it's just bacon. That calmed her down and she continued to eat the bacon. I then decided to ask her where chicken came from and she turned to us and said CARL'S JR. I think the things they say are so funny. I may have a vegetarian on my hands one of these days. She obviously does not like the thought of eating an animal. I guess we'll see.

More Football - Carson

Kylie felt like she needed to get in on the action of football too. She loves to try on their equipment.

Here is Carson going for the tackle. He plays Outside Line backer when he is on defense. He has taken several kids out of the game this season from his hard hits. I love to watch him play.

Here is Carson on Offense, running the ball. He plays running back and tail back for his team. He has shown alot of improvement this year. We are proud of him regardless of their 0-7 season so far. He picked #36 this year because he wanted the same number as Brian Westbrook of the Eagles.

Kaleb- West Jordan Jaguar Football 2008

Kaleb started football for the 2008 season in July. We have been eating, breathing, sleeping football. We started out at 5 practices a week and then when school started they dropped to 3 a week, with a game every Saturday. It is very time consuming, but I love to watch them play.

Kaleb is known as "Young Lati" on his team. His head coach started that. I have even been called Mrs. Lati on a couple occasions. Kaleb plays running back, full back, and tight end when he is on offense, and plays outside linebacker on defense.

Coming off the field while playing Viewmont. We won this game, but we have had a rough season so far. We are 2 and 5 for the season so far. 2 more games to go.

Kaleb hanging out with his team mates at halftime.
Carson is playing too, but I don't have any pictures yet to post for him.

Fall Festival

Sitting in the pumpkin patch, toys and candy in hand.
Kylie is working her way through the straw maze. She went through it about 10 times and would run from me when I said it was time to go.

Kylie getting her face painted. She asked for pumpkins to be on her face with sparkles. I was impressed by the end result.

Corbin also had some face painting done. Doesn't he look SCARY?

Kylie showing off her face painting, while Chucka grandma holds her.

Corbin's Baptism

We made an invitation with our camera, computer, and photo printer. It turned out pretty dang cute if I do say so myself.
Grandma and Grandpa Neal came down from Idaho for Corbin's special day. We always love to see them.

Corbin was so excited to finally be getting baptized. He looked so great in his white clothes.

David and I are so proud of Corbin and the big kid he is becoming. He is such a special part of our family. We love you Corbin.

Corbin's Birthday

Me taking a rest at the bottom of the slide. You work up quite a sweat chasing thirteen children .
The Gang having a great time at the party. They were fun to watch. They played tag for about 2 hours. They were all sweating like crazy and I think all of us left with at least one burn from the giant slide.

Blowing out the candles. It's kind of sad to see them grow up.

David flying down the slide. Nice Buns!

Corbin turned 8 this year and we had a blast playing at Bouncin Off the Walls!
