This little Diva of mine is pretty funny. She says things all the time that catch me off guard. We were shopping yesterday, or should I say window shopping, when she found some shoes that she wanted. I told her that I couldn't buy them for her today because I didn't have any money. She looks at me like she is one ticked off cookie and says "then just put it on your credit card!" I had to laugh, but she had a complete meltdown when she had to put the shoes back on the shelf. Boy oh boy are we in trouble, if our kids think its just as easy as pulling out a credit card. She sure keeps me on my toes though. She may be a little diva, but I wouldn't trade her for anything! Love you Sis!

Boating
Well, the last couple weeks have been a little stressful with Doctor appointments, and things breaking around our home, but we were able to get away from it all and go out on my brother-in-law's boat. The kids had fun just jumping into the lake and swimming around. David and Kylie were floating around, when Corbin decided to do a cannon ball and splash them right in the face.
Corbin invited his friend Porter to come with us. Here they are hanging out on the boat, eating snacks and acting goofy. Corbin and Porter both got a little bit of motion sickness out on the water. The water was a little choppy at times.

Every chance Corbin got, he was in the water. He loves being out there. I think he feels fearless with his life jacket on. Look at that smile, he is having a Blast!
Carson took his friend Zack with him. Zack had never been boating before and he didn't know how to swim. They had fun swimming around too. Zack was a trooper. He didn't want to try wake boarding, but he said he would get on the tube. Once we got the tube blown up, a big rain storm came through so he didn't even get to try it. Sorry Zack!
Here is little Tootsie taking a break for a snack.
David is getting pretty good at this wake boarding stuff. He has no problems starting out and now he is jumping the wake and trying to to do 360's and stuff like that.
This is my very first time getting up on the wake board. I think I stayed up for a total of about 10 seconds. Steering is a whole different ball game. I fell so hard on my butt that I felt like I had been spanked really hard. It also caused a massive wedgie. Looking at this picture makes me realize that I could use some sun on those good size thighs of mine.

Go Take a Hike
So, I can't even explain this picture. This is just Carson for you. This about the only picture I got of him because he was always way ahead of me on the trails. You gotta love that face!
Cute little girls. They were just kicking back after they had eaten lunch. It's amazing how much happier your 3 year old can be with some food in her stomach.
This is the famous rock that my kids have to climb every time we go to Silver Lake. They even played tag on it this time.
If there is a rock or a tree to climb, you can bet your booty that the boys will be all over it.

This is one of the few SMILES we got out of Kylie today. I think we stretched her hiking abilities to the Max. She was a trooper and did an amazing job. We hiked a trail that we had never done before and it was pretty hard. She made it about 2 hours UP the mountain before she started to whine. We were trying to hike to a lake, but after 2 hours of hiking we asked someone who was coming down the mountain how much longer we had, and they said 1 1/2 more hours. We decided at that point to turn it around. I gave Kylie a piggy back ride on the way down and she ended up falling asleep on my back. Needless to say she was carried all the way DOWN the mountain.
Coolin' Off
We took a trip downtown to the Gateway to cool off. We had a Hot day and nothing to do so we packed up and went to the fountain. Corbin jumped right in and had a great time. He still knows how to have a good time.
Corbin thought the mist was cool because when he would come out of it all his arm hairs looked white.

Kylie begged to go play in the fountain and then when we got there she didn't want to get in. She screamed and cried and whined, so I ignored her and she laid down on her towel and started sucking her thumb. What a STINKER! Kaleb was also a party pooper, but I have to remember he has a 13 year old image to uphold. He went into the Apple store instead and played with all the Ipod's.
